On 8 September 2012, youth will learn and discuss Human Rights Education at an interactive workshop.
Youth delegates will present their respective human rights activities in their countries and share their successful actions. As well, they will receive briefings and information from experienced human rights activists.
In the past, Ms. Allida Black, project director and editor of the Eleanor Roosevelt Papers and Research, Professor of History and International Affairs at George Washington University, participated as one of the speaker for this workshop, sharing her experience and giving an additional viewpoint to the youth as to the needs of implementing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The delegates will also get further familiarized with the educational tools that Youth for Human Rights International uses and distribute worlwide so that people know their rights and those get respected.
